Homaira Nowshin Urmi has been serving as a faculty in the Department of Law, Premier University, Chittagong, since April, 2008. In addition she worked as a faculty in the Department of Law, BGC Trust University, Chittagong and in the Department of Law, Stamford University Bangladesh, Dhaka. She has been awarded MPhil Degree in 2015 from University of Chittagong. At present she is pursuing PhD on right to protection of victims of crime and witnesses in Bangladesh in Bangladesh.
At Doctoral Program, research topic is “In Quest of an Effective Legal Regime of Right to Protection of Crime Victims Witnesses in Bangladesh”.
Research undertaken on “Right to Compensation of the Victims of Crime and Some Issues: Bangladesh Perspective” in fulfillment of the Degree of Master of Philosophy.
